EDUCATION
With the support of the Local Catholic Church, and State, and Federal Scholarships, Marcus was able to fund his education to study Pharmacy at the Ahmadu Bello University.
CAREER
After earning his Pharmacy degree in 1979, He worked as an intern at Glaxo Nigeria Limited in the Quality Control Unit from 1979 – 1980 and then as a Hospital Pharmacist in Military Hospital, Yaba.
During his stint as a Youth Corper, he got married to Funmilayo Oyeyipo. June 1981 was the start of a long career at Glaxo Nigeria Limited, where he worked as a Medical Representative and Senior Medical Representative until 1989 in Kaduna State before relocating to Lagos after being promoted to Area Sales Manager.
He rose through the ranks to become Sales Director and then exited in 2001 after 20 years of service. He continued to work independently in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
